What is a right angle?
An angle that measures exactly 90 degrees.
What is an obtuse angle?
An angle that measures more than 90 degrees , but less than 180 degrees.
What is an adjacent angle?
Two angles in the same plane that have a common vertex and a common side, but do not have any other interior points in common. (Two angles touching right next to each other.)
What are complementary angles?
Two angles whose sum adds to be 90 degrees.
What are supplementary angles?
Angles whose sum adds to be 180 degrees.

How many degrees are in a triangle?
180 degrees
How many degrees are in a circle?
360 degrees

What is a plane?
A flat surface that goes on forever.
What does collinear mean?
On the same line.
What does coplanar mean?
On the same plane.
What are congruent segments?
Segments with the same measure or length.
What are verical angles?
The pair on angles that are directly opposite each other when tow lines intersect. (The opposite angles in an X. They are always congruent.)
What is a linear pair?
Two adjacent angles that make a line and add up to 180 degrees.
