Enrichment Approach: |
Horizontal Approach, designed to expand the current curriculum and includes topics not found in the traditional curriculum. Students do not move ahead of their peers. |

Accelerated Approach: |
Vertical approach, students move through the general curriculum in a shorter time span. Acceleration does not cause social adjustment problems. Trick is to provide environments that both academics and social development are possible. |
