Takes time (more than 3 hrs) Sterility not guaranteed Must be rinsed before use |

Why would we use Glutaraldehyde? |
When sterility isn't as vital such as dental procedures and for things like lenses and equipment that cant be put into an autoclave or a machine with Ethylene Oxide |

What are some disadvantages to the autoclave? |
No plastic or heat intolertant items Proper use to ensure even sterilization Can burn, gets very hot |
