What medical conditions can cause subluxation of biceps long head tendon
Biceps long head tendon slips out of groove
- ABD or supination, over bending elbow, sudden force or too quick
- Degenerative Change at Insertion into Radial Tuberosity
- Tendon moves medially to get stuck between tuberosity and tendon

Any other medical condition can cause this? Fracture, dislocation

Acute:
- Dislocation of shoulder joint
- Fracture of humeral surgical neck
Tx priniciple subluxation biceps tendon
- Regulate tendons, channels
- Move blood
- Tonify kid/sp; prevent future subluxation.
As biceps tendon heals, what should patient do? What to avoid?
- Avoid lifting
- Avoid big ROM x 2 wks after immobilization
- Could be from aging and tendon could be loose
