What is the DEA and what created it?
The Drug Enforcement Agency was created by the Controlled Substances Act of 1970
What is physical dependence?
reliance on a drug to the point that the body physically reacts to the absence or discontinuation of a drug
What is psychological dependence?
a person's belief that they will cease to function normally if they cannot have a certain drug--physical symptoms may or may not occur
