CONFLICT |
In literature, a CONFLICT is a literary element that involves a struggle between two opposing forces usually a protagonist and a antagonist. |

RISING ACTION |
In literary works, a rising action includes all decisions, characters' flaws and background circumstances that together create turns and twists leading to a climax. |

CLIMAX |
The highest or most intense point in the development or resolution of something; culmination: A decisive moment that is of maximum intensity or is a major turning point in a plot. |

The part of the literary plot that occurs after the climax has been reached and the conflict has been resolved. |

What a Character acts like....Character Traits are all of the aspects of a person's behavior and attitudes that make up that person's personality. Everyone has Character Traits, both good and bad. Even Characters in Books have Character Traits. Character Traits are often shown with descriptive objectives, like Patient, Unfaithful, or Jealous. |

The setting is the time and place in which the story takes place. The definition of setting can also include social statuses, weather, historical period, and details about immediate surroundings. Settings can be real or fictional, or a combination of both real and fictional elements. |
