Skeletal system

Bones and joints. Supports and protects bodies, forms blood cells, and stores minerals.

Respiratory system

Nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx, trachea, bronchial tubes, and lungs. Obtains oxygen and removes carbon dioxide.

Cardiovascular

Heart, arteries, and veins. Pumps blood to transport nutrients, oxygen, and wastes.

Blood

Plasma, platelets, RBC’s, and WBC’s. Transports oxygen, protects against pathogens, and promotes clotting.

Lymphatic

Tonsils, thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, and lymphatic vessels. Maintains fluid balance and contributes to immune system.

Nervous

Brain, spinal cord, and nerves. Receives sensory information and coordinates a response.

Digestive

Oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. Ingest, digest, and absorb nutrients.

Integumentary

Skin, hair, nails, and sweat glands. Protective barrier and aids in temperature regulation.

Endocrine

Pituitary gland, pineal gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, thymus gland, adrenal glands, pancreas, testes, and ovaries. Regulates metabolic/hormonal activities in body.

Renal/Urinary

Kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra. Filters waste out of blood and removes from them from body.

Male reproductive

Testes, epididymis, vas deferens, penis, seminal vesicles, and prostate gland.

Female reproductive

Ovaries, Fallopian tubes, uterus, vagina, vulva, breasts.
