The smallest unit of structure that living things are made of

Oraganism

Any individual single-celled life form, animal or plant

Bacteria

Cells without a membrane-bound nuclei

Nucleus

Chloroplast

The place in plant cells in which photosynthesis happens, converting sunlight and other ingredients into food

The "powerhouse" of the cell, similar to the digestive system. They break down nutrients energy rich molecules (cellular respiration)
