What characteristics and risks to health do anabolic steroids have? |
It increases protein synthesis, which builds muscle hypertrophy. It also reduces recovery time and is related to testosterone. Side effects = Liver damage, high blood pressure, aggression, gender specific effects and increased cholesterol |

What do hormones and related substances do? |
They enhance things that are naturally there and up-regulate them. E.g. Stimulate blood cell production in the bone marrow. |

What are therapeutic drugs used for ? |
Allergies, joint pain and over active immune system. |

What is therapeutic use exemption? |
When allowed to take drugs for health reasons, vital to health and have no performance enhancing effect. |
