What is the spinnets?
This is where the spider's silk is released. They are located at the tip of the abdomen.
What is a vivardi?
A created habitat for the spider that is close to the spider's natural home.
What is an arachnid?
The family spiders belong to. It has eight jointed legs, a two-part body, and an exoskeleton.
What is the pedipalps?
These are two sensory feelers that look like very short legs attached to the front of the spider. They taste food.
What is the pedicel?
It is the spider's waist. It connects the cephalothorax and the abdomen.
What is the cephalothorax?
It is the fused head and thorax. It contains the brain, jaws, eyes, stomach, and leg attachments.
What is an addomen?
It is the belly. It contains the guts, heart, reproductive organs, and silk glands.
