Case Law
Judicial decisions always in relation to particular case and therefore not formulated. It always builds up upon other sources. In the Netherlands courts can use the decisions of the Dutch Supreme Court as law for example.
Customary Law
A law which is unwritten, however uniformly and constantly applied. It is invoked in last resort and used in international law.
