Karl Marx(1818-1883)
A German born philosopher that believed that all of human history and society can be traced to the basic material circumstance of men and women in a productive relationship with nature. Wanted elimination of private property and classes.
Emile Durkheim(1858-1917)
French sociologist demanded a separate existence for the science of sociology on the grounds that it has both an object and a substratum exclusively its own. Believed that society gives us the rules which keep us from conflict and pursuit of passions.
Mex Weber (1864-1920)
A German Sociologist which conducted a series of experiments to understand why The western civilization was so different from the east.
