Declaration of independence

This document told us why we were seperating from England.

What did the declaration of independence state

The declaration of independence stated that when government abused the right of people than the people could change it or get rid of it

Why do we need a constitution?

We need a blue print for the government, we need to know how the government works and we need to limit the power so that the government can't abuse their power.

What did John Locke say?

1. The government should serve the people 2. People are born with natural rights 3. Governments main job is to protect our natural rights.
