What are they caused by?
The seasons are caused by the tilt of the earth, which affects the way the suns rays hit and where, therefore causing the seasons

Summer- June 21 *Solstice* to September 22

Winter- The rays are hitting the other side of the Earth
Spring- The rays are slowly making their way back to hitting at full force again

Earth is receiving sunlight at the equator and the light spreads. The rotation, or what causes night and day may causes the Earth to lose sunlight.

An equinox is when night and day are exactly the same length while a solstice when the sun is at is northern most point

Evaportaion- When water, or liquid, turns into water vapor, or a gas
Transpiration- When plants lose water vapor
Condensation- When water vapor turns into clouds
Precipitation- When water vapor gets to heavy and falls to the Earth
Runoff- The excess water that the ground cannot hold
What are the similarities and differences between erosion and weathering??
Erosion is the movement of sediment while weathering is when rock is broken down into several pieces
Explain and Apply the theory of plate tectonics
The theory of plate tectonics is that plates underneath the ground cause things like earthquakes. The scientists believe that the plates cause earthquakes when they collide and that every continent is pretty much its own plate.
