When Napoleon crowned himself emporer, and the French Revolution began, it caused much conflict between the French and the British in Canada

Acadia was on the St. Lawrence River or modern day Nova Scotia. The name dates back to 1524-1525.

They were called Acadians

They had to face starvation, disease in the new place they were forced to live in, they were separated from their families, extreme weather, etc.

The first French colonists came in 1604 under the direction of Samuel de Champlain and Pierre Sieurs de Monts. This was Champlain’s second voyage. About 80 colonists came with them.
What happened to most of the colonists the first winter they were there?
The first winter was harsh and many of the colonists died of scurvy.

The Seven Years War ended in 1763 and it ended with the Royal Proclamation of 1763
