How do you dose Ivermectin therapy
0.5 mg/kg dosed orally SID for 90-120 days
how many mls of 1% Ivermectin should be given for 44 lb dog once you achieve induction for every day treatment (maintenance)
1% ivermectin = 1g/100 ml = 10mg/ml (concentration)
44 lb dog / 2.2 kg/lb = 20 kg
0.5 mg/kg x 20kg = 10 mg
10 mg x 10 mg/ml = 1 ml / day
