My presentation I did research on is about Black and Hispanic Relations. In my opinion Blacks and Hispanics have a very steady relationship with each other in the U.S. |
According to a Gallup Poll relations between Blacks and Hispanics in the year 2004 was at it's highest being at 62%. |

As you can see on the graph relationships between Blacks and Hispanics declined in the year 2006, the percentage being %48. Relations also declined among the other minorities in this poll.The reason could be financial crisis, house fore closures and high rates of unemployment. The U.S at this time was going through some hard times so relations were not at it's best. In the year 2013 relations once again spiked up to %60 reason being the United state's economy being better. |
Overall in my opinion Blacks and Hispanics get along in the U.S. The reason these two groups get along so well is because they both share common things such as, being family oriented, being very spiritual people, and they both have gone through racism and being stereotyped by other minorities in the U.S. They both know how it feels and can relate to each other. |
