Hypoglycemia

altered mental status, confusion, diaphoresis, shaking, tachycardia and a feeling of extreme hunger.

Hyperglycemia

polydipsia, polyuria and polyphagia. Symptoms may also include nausea, vomiting,abdominal pain, fatigue and confusion.Ketones have a smell much like Juicy Fruit gum and can often be detected
