Hazard warning line - Don't unless the road is clear and wish to overtake or turn off. The shorter the gaps the closer the hazard. |

Double white lines- if the side nearest you is solid then dont overtake. If it's dashed then you can overtake if you can get back befoee it turns solid |

Tyre pressure monitor warning light- once the preserve of high end, super expensive luxury saloons, many more cars fitted with tyre pressure monitoring systems today. These systems can sense a deviations away from normal tyre pressure. |

Oil warning light- oil temperature too high, oil pressure too low |

Coolant warning lights - not enough coolant so engine would get too hot |

Dpf/diesel particulate filter warning light- most modern diesel vehicles are fitted with a diesel particulate filter, which removes harmful soot from exhaust gases to reduce emissions. If this is faulty it could mean a toxic cloud of black smoke is coming out or causing damage to your engine. |
