Prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities, requires reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals, restricts employers administration of medical exams (until after an offer is made except for drug screens) Enforced by EEOC
Applies to all ER's with 15 or more EE's. Including Private and Govt. Agencies as well as labor unions.
American with Disabilities Act of 1990

Davis Bacon Act 1931
Adjusts minimum vesting schedules for ER matching contributions to defined contribution plans made after 2001 to 3-year cliff vesting and 6-year graded vesting (20% after 2 years with 20% per year thereafter) Permits catch up contributions for employees age 50 or older
Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act (EGTRRA) 2001
Sets forth provisions fo access, use, disclosure, interception, and privacy protections of electronic communications.
Electronic Communications Privacy Act 1986
Regulated employee benefit plans including health insurance, profit sharing and pension. The purpose is to regulate private pension plans in order to assure that employees who put money into them or depend on a pension for retirement funds actually receive the money when they retire. Requires retirement benefits to be offered to all employees if offered to any employees.
Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) 1974
