If the steering feels heavy the steering may be faulty.two checks can be made before starting a journey 1) apply gentle pressure on the steering wheel maintained when the engine is started. This should result in a Slight noticeable movement as system begins. 2) Turning the steering wheel immediately after moving off will give an indication that power assisted steering is working. |
