Horopter
A curved plane consisting of all the points where targets are at the same cnvergence or fixation distance in visual space.
Panum's area
A narrow region on both sides of the horopter with all points in visual space that are fused into single images.
Global stereopsis
perception of depth in the absence of monocular shape or form.
Correspondence problem
The task of finding the elements from the image in one eye that correspond to the elements of the image in the other eye.
