FPCON LEVELS


EPCON NORMAL exists when a general threat of possible terrorist activity exists.


EPCON ALPHA applies when there is a general threat of possible terrorist activity against personnel and facilities.


FPCON BRAVO applies when an increased and more predictable threat of terrorist activity exists.


FPCON CHARLIE applies when an incident occurs or intelligence is received indicating that some form of terrorist action against personnel and facilities is imminent.


FPCON DELTA applies in the immediate area where a terrorist attack has occurred or when intelligence has been received that terrorist action against a specific location or person is likely. Normally, this FPCON is declared as a localized condition.

Reaction force teams

REACTION FORCE TEAMS


&. SRF-Security Reaction Force- Responds to a


Truation withun 5mins. They are the initial team that will engage and handle situations as they arise


b. BRF- Backup Reaction Force- Are to respond to the situation within 10 minutes ready to assist handling the situation. They may be forced to take the lead if the SRP is engaged in a different situation. The BRP is the back up to the SRF team and may be brought in to handle containment


c. Reserve Force- Is the final force made up of the duty section to handle a situation if the SRF and BRP have been eliminated or cannot respond to a situation due to prior commitment.

11 GENERAL ORDERS


1. To take charge of this post and all government property In vlew.


2. To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert, and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing


3. To report all violations of orders I am Instructed to enforce.


4. To repeat all calls from posts more distant from the guard house than my own.


5. To quit my post only when properly relleved.


6. To receive, obey and pass on to the sentry who relieves me, all orders from the Commanding Officer.


Command Duty Officer, Officer of the Deck, and Officers and Petty Officers of the Watch only.


7. To talk to no one except in the line of duty.


8. To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.


9. To call the Officer of the Deck in any case not covered by instructions.


10. To salute all officers and all colors and standards not cased.


11. To be especially watchful at night, and, during the time for challenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.
