If provided in the governing documents a condo or Co-op Association May charge a transfer fee of up to $100 for each adult screening in a sale, lease, transfer or conveyance of any kind. A husband and wife may be charged only a single fee of $100. No transfer fee may be charged on a renewal of a lease with the same Leesee. |

Security deposit for condo or Co-op |
The association May charge a security deposit to a member to protect against damage to Common property caused by a Leesee. Security deposit may not exceed one month's rent. Security deposit must be placed in an escrow account maintained by association. Security deposits to Association must be handled in a similar manner to those received by the member, that is, they must be placed in a separate account, pursuant to FS 83 landlord tenant Act. FS 83 permits only a single month security rent to be charged to a Leesee |
