Control group

Is compared to the control group but has had a variable different from the control which is measured

Variables

The condition in an experiment that is tested, this is the ONLY factor that can affect on the outcome, is plotted on the X axis

Dependent variable (DV)

Is the result of the IV and is plotted on the Y axis

Theory

A fake pill used in studies so that patients do not know they are not getting the real medicine
