Biotic

Abiotic

Species

Living things of the same kind that are able to reproduce.

Population

A bunch of the same species living in the same area.

Community

All populations of different species living and interacting with each other.

Basic Needs

The needs of oxygen, water, energy and food. Things that living things need to survive all conditions.

Nutrients

Component of food that gives energy.

Symbiosis

A relationship between species where at least one benefits.

Commensalism

Where one of the species benefits and the other does'nt care.

Mutualism

Both species benefit.

Parasitsm

One of the species is benefiting and the other is harmed.

Consumer

Living things that rely on other living things for food.

A living thing that only eats meats.

Herbivore

A living thing that eats only plants.

Omnivore

Living things that eat both meat and plants.

Producer

Living thing at the beginning of the food chain that can make its own food.
