What is a liquid?
A liquid is when molecules move more freely than a solid, but less than a gas. Ex. water, wine, juice, etc.
What are the states of matter?
Solid, liquid, and gas are the states of matter.
What is a gas?
A gas is when molecules can move more freely than a liquid and have no boundry.
What is a pysical property?
Any property of matter that can be observed by your senses without altering the composition of the matter.
What is a chemical property?
A chemical property is a characteristic of a substance that describes how the substance behaves in a chemical change.
What is a biological property?
A biological property is a characeristic that distinguishes living things from nonliving things.
What is a soild?
A soild is when molecules are packed together and can't be compressed. Ex. a table, a book, a tv, paper, etc.
What is matter?
Anything that takes up space and has mass.
What are the properties of matter?
Physical, chemical, and biological are the properties of matter.
