How do you test for carbon dioxide?

Blow into a test tube full of lime water and if the water goes cloudy there is carbon dioxide present

How do you test for oxygen?

Light a splint and let it burn till it glows and if it relights there is oxygen present

How do you test for hydrogen?

Get a test tube with sulphuric acid and magnesium in it then put your thumb over the testube and put a lit splint into it. If there's a squeaky pop hydrogen is present.

Does heat energy get taken out or taken in when there's an exothermic reaction?

Given out

When heat energy is taken in what is it called?

An endothermic reaction

What are the four ways of making salt?

Acid+alkali=salt+water
