Blow into a test tube full of lime water and if the water goes cloudy there is carbon dioxide present |
|
How do you test for oxygen? |
Light a splint and let it burn till it glows and if it relights there is oxygen present |
|
How do you test for hydrogen? |
Get a test tube with sulphuric acid and magnesium in it then put your thumb over the testube and put a lit splint into it. If there's a squeaky pop hydrogen is present. |
