Broad niche/generalist and narrow niche/specialist |

Define broad niche |
Can live in variety of climates, can't eat a variety of food sources, adapt to changes in the ecosystem. Can spread of large areas, cannot compete as well with specialist for the same food source. |

Define narrow niche |
Very good at existing in a specific climate/ecosystem, only specific food source. Cannot adapt to change. Many different species to live in same ecosystem, limit the growth of single species |
