What is curriculum-based language assessment?
An assessment of the language of a child to see if it can handle the curriculum. (Not an assessment of the curriculum!)
What are the three types of curriculum-based language assessment?
1. Artifact Assessment/Analysis: Products of the classroom (homework, journal, spelling test, etc)
2. Onlooker: Sitin the back of the room and watch the child (Are the follwoing directions? Using appropraite pragmatics?)
3. Participant: Sit beside the child and do all your therapy tricks with him/her. Give hints! If the child cannot do the work, then it is not in his/her zone of Proximal develeopemtna and he/she will need an alternate assignment.
What is the difference between a multidisplinary team and a transdisplinary team?
-Multidisplinary team: The team brainstorm together and then assigns different roles to each person on the team.
-Transdisplinary team: Goals are assigned and everone on the team works on the same goals (REQUIRED BY LAW IN THE SCHOOLS)

-Curricul-based instruction
