Robin Williams, as we know as, the great comedian andamazing actor, played in many of the greatest movies, mainly childhood movies, suchas: Aladdin (played the voice of the genie), Ms. Doubtfire, Hook, Jumanji, andmore. �0�~���\�

He brought joy to the world with his great personalities. Both his parents also had some type career or job. His mom Laurie McLaurin, was a former model from Mississippi, and his father, Robert Fitzgerald Williams, was a Ford Motor Company executive from Indiana. Robin had English, German, French, Welsh, Irish, and Scottish ancestry. What you guys didn’t know was about his early life. Yet today I will introduce to you his story. Starting from his early life, to his career and personal life, and to his legacy. Robin Williams had such an amazing journey at his time being.

Robinwas who born on July 1951, on Saturday, in Chicago Illinois, spent about 3years in an all boy’s school. He said it was almost like the one in “Dead PoetsSociety”. During Robin’s childhood he was being bullied badly for being chubby.Not only was there physically bulling, but there was intellectual bullying.Robin said getting bullied made him toughen up, but it also made him pull backa lot. He claimed that certain reticence about dealing with people. Throughcomedy. He would often spend time playing alone in his big family house. -->q���\�

Luckily he took consideration to lose weight and joined the wrestling team and the track team. In 1969, at the age of 16, Robin Williams moved to California and attended the public Redwood high school, where he joined the drama club and became involved in theater. Once he graduated he attended college at Claremont Men’s College located in California, to study political science and to play soccer. After attending Claremont Men’s College, Robin then left Claremont to attended The college of Marin to study acting.

.Just then in 1973, he won a full ride scholarship, one out of 20 freshmen, to theJuilliard school in New York city. He studied there and made good friends. Hebefriended and became roomies with the actor Christopher Reeve. As he wasspending his time there one of his great friends had left Julliard, but hecontinued to study acting. Robin had stayed there for quite a while and aftertaking a friend’s advice Robin left Julliard to move to Los Angeles and endedup working on The West Coast comedy show. Jumanj\

When he left Julliard he also started preforming in night clubs where he was discovered for the role of “Mork, from Ork” in an episode of Happy Days, in 1974. Robin has done work on different TV programs like, The Richard Pryor show, Laugh-in, and Eight is enough before becoming more widely known to Americans Audience as Mork. The episode, Happy days: My Favorite orkan, led to his famous spin-off weakly series, Mork and Mindy in 1978.

He made his feature starring debut playing the title role in Popeye in 1980, directed by Robert Altman and co-starring Shelley Duvall. As robin Williams continued his comedies and wild comic talents involving in a great deal of improvisation, following in the footsteps of his idol Jonathan Winters. Robin received an Academy Award nominations for best actor in a leading role in “Good Morning, Vietnam” in 1987, “Dead Poets Society” in 1989, and “The fisher King” in 1991, but before winning his awards for best actor, he played a supporting role in “Good Will Hunting” in 1997.

In 1996 he gave an interview to the Detroit free press while promoting a movie called “Jack”, in which he played a boy who has a disease that causes him to age four times faster than normal. In the interview he talked about how much he loved school and was not, perhaps surprisingly, the class clown.

RobinWilliams has made it big in America with his acting skills and his ability tomake people laugh. During his career as an actor, Robin Williams has won manyawards. Robin Williams took home four Grammy Awards and had six nominations, wonan Academy Award and was nominated four times, won three Emmy Awards and wasnominated seven times. However, he did not win a BAFTA award but was nominatedtwo times. Robin Williams also won two SAG Awards and was nominated four times.ragmen\

Robin Williams also took home two MTV Movie Awards and was nominated four times. In addition to his success, Robin Williams won six Golden Globe Awards and was nominated twelve times. Robin Williams received his first Golden Globe in 1979. He won the award for best actor in the movie/television series: Mork and Mindy, Good Morning Vietnam, The Fisher King, Aladdin, and Mrs. Doubtfire, for which his wife stumbled upon the script. The movie Mrs. Doubtfire was a huge international hit! The movie took in $200 million.

Robin Williams also starred in some of the best children movies. He won two awards and was nominated seven times for the Kids’ Choice Awards. His two winning movies were “Hook” and “Mrs. Doubtfire”. In his life, prior to his untimely death, Robin Williams had always had someone by his side. Robin Williams married Marsha on April 30, 1989 following the 1988 divorce from his first wife, Valerie. Marsha met Robin Williams in 1984 when she was employed as the family’s nanny. When Valerie and Robin separated, Marsha became Robin Williams’ assistant.

Marsha and Robin Williams romantic relationship began in 1986. They had two children together; Zelda Rae and Cody Alan. Robin Williams daughter, Zelda, was named, obviously, after the video game, The Legend of Zelda. That’s how you know Robin Williams is a true gamer. An interesting fact you guys did not know about Robin Williams was that he was a hardcore gamer at the age of 63. Some of his favorite games were Call of Duty, Warcraft, Portal, Wizardry, Battle Stations, Half-Life, Day of Defeat, and of course, The Legend of Zelda.

He said his son also played games just like he did. Besides the interesting fact, throughout Robins career he faced some Personal Challenges. In the article BIO it stated that while his career was taking off, Robin developed a drug and alcohol problem while working on the sitcom Mork and Mindy, and would struggle with addiction for more than two decades. “Cocaine for me was a place to hide. Most people get hyper over coke. It slowed me down,” Robin Williams told people in 1998. Robin was even with John Beluish during the Saturday night live star’s all-night cocaine and heroin binge that led to his fatal overdose.

“The Belushi’s tragedy was frightening. His death scared a whole group of shadow-business people. It caused a big exodus from drugs, and for me, there was a baby coming. I knew I couldn’t be a father and live that sort of life.” Robin told people. He later told the New York times that he hadn’t confronted the underlying issue at the root of his addiction. Once again, it was Robin’s son, Zak, who was an integral part of Robin Williams decision to get sober. Yet, Robin Williams had a down fall.

Comedian,Robin Williams passed away on August 11, 2014, in Paradise Cay, California. ArticleCCHR and The Guardian both state that drugs and depression is not the cause ofhis death. Comedian, Robin Williams hung himself in his California home, thenews of his death met with incomprehension around the world. No drugs werefound in his system at the time of his death. NBC News, the BBC and othersproclaiming “no alcohol or drugs” were found. Those headlines couldn’t be morewrong\�

The medical examiner’s report cites an antidepressant drug was in Williams’ system at the time of his death. While toxicology test apparently was negative for the antipsychotic Seroquel, the fact remains that the bottle of Seroquel prescribed to Williams on august 4th, just several days prior to Williams suicide, was missing 8 pills. The Seroquel instructions advise to take one pill per day. Side effects associated with Seroquel include psychosis, paranoid reactions, delusions, depersonalization and suicide attempt.

A question that was commonly asked was why were the press continuing to the idea that no drugs were found in Williams’ system. The acknowledgment seems to promote that the fact that “therapeutic concentrations” of prescription psychiatric drugs “improved his conditions and kept him active until his death”. William was receiving mental health treatment, he was under the supervision of a psychiatrist, was not abusing illegal drugs and had not “fallen off the wagon,”.

What was found in Williams’ system were prescription psychiatric drugs with side effects that not only rival illegal street drugs, but also carry the FDA’s “Black Box” warnings- the federal agency’s most serious warnings-about increased thoughts of suicide. The fact is that two of the drugs Williams had been prescribed list suicidal thoughts as a possible side effects. Robin Williams passing was tragic but he will always be missed by many.

On E new, they shared that ever since Robin Williams’ tragic passing, it’s been perfectly clear that the Oscar-winning actor left nothing by positive memories for his friends. Matt Damon said in a statement on E! news “Robin brought so much joy into my life and I will carry that joy with me forever. “He was such a beautiful man, I was lucky to know him and I will never, ever forget him.” Damon also added “I truly hope the people in the media can find it within themselves to give his family some privacy during this horrible time.

” Billy Crystal, Williams’ longtime friend and frequent collaborator, at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards told E! News “He made us laugh, hard, any time you saw him.” “As genius as he was onstage, he was the greatest friend you could ever imagine-supportive, protective, loving.” Crystal also added “It’s very hard to talk about him in the past because the present in all our lives.” Robin Williams will never be forgotten, but yet he left behind his legacy of laughter. A “Comedic genius”. William blasted into TV viewers’ living rooms in 1987 as the loveable Zany alien Mork, on the hit CBS sitcom “Mork and Mindy”.

Robin Williams was one-man artistic wonder.His utterly unique approach to his craft may just remain one of the greatestunsolved mysteries of all time. Started off as a regular high school boy, then studiedtheater art and/ or acting as he entered high school and college. Robin went toJulliard and that’s where he studied a lot of his interest. He faced some personal problems, but had his wife and kids beside him. Robin Williams became a big success, but sadly took his life away because oh his sickness situation, Leaving behind his legacy of Laughter.
