What is the difference between a Student Exchange Program and a Study Abroad Program?
Exchange students do not pay tuition fees to the host institution. This includes Erasmus, Nordplus and some of our bilateral partners.

Study abroad students pay tuition fees to the host institution, but these fees are often reduced by our partners for our students. If you choose to travel to an institution where UiA does not have an exchange or study abroad agreement, you will have to pay full tuition fees.
