ACE/ARB Side effects
|
Dry cough; due to increase in Bradykinin, less common with ARBs
Angiodema; due to increase in Bradykinin, common in face, tounge, lips and throat (can cause airway constriction). Less common with ARBs Hyperkalemia; contraindicated in patients taking K+ supplements or those on K+ sparing diuretics -pair with Thiazide to offset increase in K+ |
