How often should we remember Christ's death and resurrection?
Each first day of the week (Acts 20:7)
How do we do this?
By meeting to break bread and drink wine in remembrance of Christ
What do you understand when we 'break bread'?
c) The bread represents Christ's body given as a perfect sacrifice for sin (like the Passover lamb). Jesus Christ was the true "bread from heaven" (John 6:35, 48-58)
What do you understand when we 'share the cup of wine.'?
This represents Christ's blood that takes away our sins because the life is in the blood and we are saved because Jesus Christ is risen (Heb.9:22, Lev. 17:10-11, Rom.5:1 0).
