Where does goodness come from?
It comes from human nature, which was created by God, who is love and goodness.
Define Conscience.
A person's moral sense of right and wrong, viewed as acting as a guide to one's behaviour.
List the ways people experience the call to goodness.
People experience the call to goodness in different ways of personal experiences, such as ideals, being inspired by others, feelings of guilt, the desire for truth, the call to love.
Outline how God speaks to us.
God does not speak to us through a human voice but rather he speaks to us through stirring inner thoughts and feelings such as love, joy, peace, patience and kindness.
Define Human heart Questions.
Human heart questions are created in your conscience, as God is calling everyone to seek the truth with yourself. These questions are there lead people closer to God, as questions can only be answered completely by God as he is the creator of the human heart.
Identify and outline the 3 elements of any moral decision.
The three elements of any moral decision is the action itself, the intention and the circumstances. These three elements help in creating a moral decision as the elements focus on what is the right thing to do and to avoid what their consciences tell them is wrong.
What is it that affects the natural law within us?
The natural law within us was affected and damaged by sin. This results in people being mistaken about what is right and wrong or confused by feelings, which can mislead by suggesting that a certain action ‘feels right’ or ‘feels wrong’.
What is meant by Divine law?
Divine law was Created by God to free people from confusion that may stem from misunderstandings or confused feelings about what is right from wrong

The 3 conditions of sin is Deliberate Thought, Deliberate Word/Knowledge and Deliberate Consent/Deed.

God forgives and heals through reconciliation and anointing of the sick, that gives strength, peace and courage to overcome the difficulties that people go through.

When you sin on purpose you lose your freedom to chose.
State 2 Sacraments given by Jesus to forgive and heal.
The 2 sacraments are Reconciliation, through which Jesus forgives sins and heals a person’s relationship with God, and Anointing, through which Jesus gives strength, peace and courage to overcome the difficulties that go with serious illness.
Outline the First of the four Principles of Conscience,
First principle is: "everyone is obliged to form their conscience", which means that, everyone needs to develop the potential of listening to and obeying their conscience.

Outline the second of the four principles of conscience.

Second principle is: "everyone is obliged to follow sincere conscience" which means, people are obliged by the Creator to obey what their conscience tells them is the right thing to do.
Outline the third of the four Principles of Conscience,
Third principle is: "conscience does not decide right or wrong" which means,Only God the Creator ultimately knows and determines what is right and wrong, and The role of moral conscience is to discern whether a particular action conforms to God’s law and if it disobeys it or not.

Fourth principle is: "a good end does not justify immoral means" which means,People usually have good intentions when they are faced with choices that require a moral judgement, but few people ever set out to do something that will deliberately harm others. In every case that requires a moral judgement, a person needs to consider not just the good end, but also the means or the way people go about achieving the good end.
Define virtue and vice.
A virtue is when you do something good, and a vice is when you do something bad.

What motivates people to follow their conscience is the idea of finding lasting happiness, which they desire as it prevents the risk of temptations and pressures and becoming better.
List seven factors that make it harder for people to recognise conscience and the voice of God

Social trends, peer pressure, strong emotions, habits = virtues and vices, neglect to develop charity, guilt and rationalisation, and inadequate moral formation

List ONE way a daily examination of conscience helps people. Why do we examine our consciences?

The purpose of an exxamination of conscience is for an idvividual to discover whether of not they have behaved as God taught. People examine their conscience as they review past thoughts, words and actions.
