Should demonstrate command of key findings, methodology and limitations of these studies in such a way that the reader can trust the breadth and depth of what you have read and analyzed. The review should be investigated showing the scope of the research that has been conducted builds the credibility of your review and helps to illuminate the pattern of thinking

Might mean pointing out relevant research from other areas of or parallel research in other fields or might mean showing how some of the classic models or theories have changed or how they have not over the past 10 years

Needs to include a # of categories of info & relate the categories to eachother in a coherent & logical way. Most important aspect is the consideration of classics in your field

Must be pointed out and clustered in a way that shows common paterns of insight, common approaches to topic, similar findings from other fields,insights that builds on previous studies & alternative explanations to smiliar phenomenon

What are the common findings?
What are some of the unusual insights?How well are they explained and supported by the research project within which they were discovered?
What variables have been studied and what has the research found about them?
What pop, geographic area or aspects of your topic have been examined?
What related studies have been done and how do they contribute to this topic or arena?
What methods have been used to investigate the topic of your interest? Are there duplicate or atleast iterative studies in that area?If not, why have they been done? If so what did they show?

To what extent is it well written?
To what extent is it comprehensive?
In what ways does it include a range of quality references?
To what extent does it describe patterns of research?
To what extent does it cover methodological issues?
To what extent is it clear and well written?
To what extent does it summarize the research in the field?
In what ways does it address the limitations of current research?
