action research designs?
are systematic procedures used by teachers (or other individuals in an educational setting) to gather quant, qual, or both, data about-and subsequently improve-the ways their particular setting operates, how they teach, and how well their students learn.
collaborate with others?
is a task often central to action research, and it involves actively participating with others in research. These co-participants may be “inside” individuals in a school or “outside” personnel, such as universality researchers or professional association groups.
dynamic process?
in action research involves iterations of activities, such as a “spiral” of activities. The key idea is that the researcher “spirals” back and forth between reflection about a problem and data collection and action.

in action research means that the inquirer shares the action research study locally with individuals who can promote change or enact plans within their classroom or building. Action researchers share results with teachers, the building principal, school district personnel and parent associations.
