Cysticercosis

Caused by tapeworm larvae in tissues of the body. Symptoms of larvae in the brain include: Seizures, headaches, confusion, trouble balancing.

|
Progressive encephalitis caused by a persistent infection of an immune resistant measles virus. Symptoms include: personality change, seizures, myoclonus, ataxia, photosensitivity, coma, and spasticity.

Caused by an RNA virus. Symptoms: Cough, sneeze, cold symptoms; in infants can cause: myocarditis and liver failure.

Wilson's disease

A genetic disorder in which copper begins to accumulate in tissues. Symptoms include: Liver: fatigue, increased bleeding, spider naevi (generally on the chest); Neurological: rigidity, tremor, ataxia, dystonia, migraine, seizures, depression, anxiety, psychosis; Other: Kayser-Fleischer rings, cardiomyopathy, acidosis, hypoparathyroidism.
