Test for anion:
Carbonate
Add dilute Hydrochloric acid. Test the gas eveolved with limewater.
Limewater turns milky.(presense of Carbon Dioxide)
Test for anion:
Sulphate
Add dilute Hydrochloric acid (HCl)and Barium Chloride.
White precipitate of Barium Sulphate.
Test for anion:
Chloride
Add nitric acid and silver nitrate. White precipitate of Silver Chloride. Soluble in Ammonium Hydroxide.

Add nitric acid and silver nitrate. Pale yellow precipitate of Siver Bromide. Partially soluble in Ammonium Hydroxide.

Add nitric acid and silver nitrate. Yellow precipitate of Siver Iodide. Insoluble in Ammonium Hydroxide.

Add a few particles of Auminium and a few drops of Sodium Hyroxide. Warm red litmus paper and hold over mouth of tube. Red litmus will turn blue because of the Ammonium gas which is given off.
