What is the CALCORD radio channel used for
It is a scene of action coordination channel between command units of PD, fire, EMS, public works, and similar operating at the scene of a a major emergency disaster
What is CALCORD NOT USED FOR
No communications between units of similar agencies, ie fire to fire, pd to pd, etc.
CAL Fire radio frequencies may be installed in local fire agency radios, when can you actually use them
Only when used on a multi-agency incident involving Cal fire, or when Cal fire has given prior authorization.

This is a low band frequency that interconnects all of the
communication centers in SCC. It is used to request and verify mutual aid resources and broadcast other information that is of interest to all fire agencies
