If recieving no vacuum/pump fail to prime what could the cause be? |
1. Strainer not adequately submerged 2. Loose or faulty suction joints 3. An open drain civil or loose drain plug in the pump casing. 4. Delivery valves not seated properly (non return valves should hold a vacuum). 5. Air leaks in the suction hose. 6. A defective seal. 7. A serious leak in one of the pipes leading to the gauges. 8. Compound gauge may be defective and not show a reading although the pump may have primed (be able to tell by sound of then pump). 9. Serious mechanical failure. |
