Sensory memory- Capacity

Unlimited (Sperling letters on a grid 1960)

Sensory memory- Duration

Less than half a second, 250-500 milliseconds (Sperling visual memories last a fraction of a second. Baddeley echoic last between 2-3 seconds)

From a few minutes to a lifetime (Bahrick et al 1975 tested students on thier highschool yearbook. Recall worsened over time/decay)
