S Data: Self-report. Pros: Easy to collect large amounts of data. Cons: Are they telling the truth, do they even know? O Data: Observer data. Not always consistent with S-data L Data: Life history - gather info from historical records. Can get info that people don't know about self. L-limited, records not always available T Data: Test- Give people objective tests (IQ, GRE, etc.) Observe their behavior. |
