5 stages of the human brain

Ex. You begin to argue to your parents about going to Sunday worship service even though you haven't attended worship service since you were little. Instead, you like to spend it learning & visiting the different religions & churches in the world, and may even wonder if God exist at all.

-low level of exploration + low level of commitment




Ex. You get you way out of high school & barely graduated. You are not sure of your life after that. You haven't taken entrance exams to colleges & universities. So, you work part time in a local restaurant. Since, you don't earn enough money to live on your own, you live w/ your parents & everytime your parents ask you: "What are you doing with your life?" You say "IDK."

14. FORECLOSURE

-low degree of exploration + high degree of commitment




Ex. You attended tot he same college your parents, grandparents & ancestors attended/graduated. You "decided" to take elementary education as your major since your parents + grandparents are teachers. You have not explored other options besides the college you attended & the degree you took. Everytime someone asks about your plans, you say "All the women in my family became teachers. they love comfortably enough." You accept the life path chosen by your parents.

15. ACHIEVEMENT

-high degree of exploration + high degree of commitment




Ex. You casted your votes for the 2016 Elections after researching all the candidates + platforms + issues important to you
