inherited disorder that causes adrenal glands of genetic female to produce androgen-like horomone (causes masculinization....recieve horomone therapy to stop becoming a man)
Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome
inherited disorder where the body of genetic male cannot utilize androgen causing feminization of the external genitals....NO INTERNAL SEX ORGANS PRESENT (reverse of CAH)
5 Alpha Reductase Deficiency
inherited condition in genetic male preventing prenatal differentation of external sex tissues into penis. Appear to be female, at puberty experience masculanization and devel. secondary male sex characteristics (facial hair, deep voice)
