Weight reduction, (Obese) PG - Incurable, Only Controlled |

Aspergillosis

This is a fungal disease, Primarily in the lower respiratory tract. Mold growth in lung or Air Sac.
CA - The fungus Aspergillus fumigatus. Found everywhere. TR - By inhalation of airborne spores. SY - Not specific, but noted are Wheezing, Increased breathe rate, Respiratory gurgling or clicking, Voice changes, Polyuria, Weight loss. LW - X-Ray, Endoscopy, Hematology, Cultures, Serology. TX - Difficult before death, necropsy will demonstrate diagnosis. PG - Tx may prolong life, relapse & Death are common. |
