NEEDS STATEMENT

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

Application packets containing full instructions and all the forms needed to submit the proposal.

CONTRACT
|
Represents a procurement or purchase arrangement in which the contracting agency “buys” services from the organization or an individual to fulfill the contracting agency’s obligations or responsibilities.

GRANT
|
Assistance given to an organization or individual to accomplish the stated purposes and objectives (project.)

PROPOSAL
|
A written document prepared to apply for funding.

-Availability: Availability of services. Are the hours of operation convenient for the client?
-Accessibility: Where are the services located? Can the client get to the site? Does it take special physical needs into consideration, such as supplying access for people in wheelchairs? -Acceptability: How do clients perceive the services? Is the decor and design of the service's setting inviting and respectful of the client? -Appropriateness: Is the service the right one for the client? Will the service address the problem it is advertised to? -Adequacy: Is the service sufficient in amount to meet the community's needs? Are services as comprehensive as possible? |
