Discuss with the patron the desired style , type of curl, and previous chemical services. Analyze scalp for cuts or abrasions. determine texture,porosity, elasticity,density, length, and body.

Shampoo hair with redken hair cleansing cream.

Rinse hair well with warm water.

Pre-cut & Pre-wrap if necessary.

Wrap hair on rods.

Put picks in to prevent band marks and breakage. Apply protective Gel to hair line to protect the skin. Place cotton to absorb extra solution. Place towel around neck and plastic cape. Give towel to protect eyes.

Call for Check and mist to encourage solution to absorb faster.

Apply processing solution. From top to bottom covering each rod twice.

Place plastic bag over rods then place towel over bag to keep warmth in.

Set timer for processing.

Take test curl in most resistant area. Look for separating on rods, hair to loop over and for loop to = rod size.

Rinse when fully processed for Five minutes.

Blot hair thoroughly. Towel then paper-towel. For long hair air oxidizer for 5 to 15 min then re-blot.

Place fresh cotton around the hairline, new towel around the neck and shoulder and give new towel for eyes.

Check Rods to make sure they are all in place.

Apply neutralizer starting on top and working down going over each twice. set for five minutes.

Remove all rods starting from the bottom working up. work the neutralizer through hair.

Rinse well with light spray and slightly warm water for Five minutes.

Blot hair, Remove towels and cape. Re-drape with neck strip and chair-cloth.

Cut hair to desired style.

Apply styling aid and dry hair.
