La culture Américaine est une fusion des chansons, danses, et des aliments du monde.

Généralement chaque groupe commence au bas de l’échelle sociale et économique.

Le groupe monte dans l’échelle avec chaque génération.

Actuellement, les Américains sont préoccupés par l’immigration, pour deux raisons dominantes.

La première raison, le onze Septembre nous a fait concevoir les immigrants comme des terroristes potentiels.

First, 9/11 made us see all immigrants as potential terrorists.
|

|
La deuxième raison, les Américains pensent que les immigrants abusent de nos services sociaux.

Second, Americans think that immigrants abuse our social services.
|
|
|
On considérait auparavant que les immigrants n’enviaient que notre mode de vie.

In the past Americans thought immigrants moved here because they wanted out way of life.
|
|
|
Aujourd’hui, les Américains craignent que les immigrants ne veuillent saboter notre société.

Today Americans fear that immigrants aim to undermine our society.
|
|
|
Ils craignent que dans le temps nos choses chères cesseront d’exister.
|
They fear that in time no one will have the things we cherish.

Avec le temps, chaque nouveau groupe s’est implanté dans le tissu social.

With time each new group is folded into the fabric of society.

Selon moi, c’est ce processus qui rend les États-Unis innovants et grands.

In my opinion, it is a process that makes the US innovative and great.

Les États-Unis devraient accorder la priorité à nos idéals lorsque nous recherchons des solutions au problème de l’immigration.

The US had to remember our ideals when we search for solutions to immigration problems.
