This suggests it was designed by an intelligent being

If someone saw a watch they would know it had been designed as its so complex


A watch has many complex parts that fit together to make it work so it must have been designed


Paley said it is the same for the universe and only God could design the universere

We can't prove God exists and the design argument only suggests he does


The appearance of design is due to evolution so everything is evolved so only has the appearance of design
